1. Introduction

Linqqit ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our secure link service. Our core philosophy is simple: We do not want your data. We are a transient storage service.

2. Information We Collect

• Content Data: When you create a link, we temporarily store the content (text, code, or file) you upload. This content is encrypted at rest.
• Usage Logs: We collect minimal logs regarding the creation and consumption of links (IP address, User Agent, Time) for security and abuse prevention.

3. Data Retention & Destruction

This is the most important part of our service:

• Upon Access: As soon as a link is successfully "unlocked" by a recipient, the content is immediately and permanently deleted from our database and storage.
• Expiration: If a link is not accessed within its validity period (default 24 hours), it is automatically and permanently deleted.
• No Backups: We do not retain backups of user content. Once deleted, it is unrecoverable by anyone, including us.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary local storage cookies to manage your local history on your device. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or sell your data to advertisers.

5. Abuse

We reserve the right to delete any content that violates the law or our terms of service without notice.
